Position Summary
The position requires a creative flair and strong ability to translate requirements into design. Work involves the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. Need an understanding of websites (layout, design and content), digital ad design, photography and video.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
- Working from a brief with an Account Executive, generating ideas to present to the client
- Conceptualize visuals for print and digital environments based on requirements (concept, revisions, to delivery)
- Contribute to strategic decisions, working with design and teams
- Working knowledge of graphic usage across various media (digital, print, traditional)
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software provided
- Managing and organizing the task/job infrastructure (Ex. Wrike)
- Successfully implement content and design based on use and output
- Ability to work withing open-source platforms including WordPress and Drupal
- Executing through high-level graphic design, lead design projects through research, concept, and completion using internal and external resources to fit brand guidelines
- Work under the supervision of an Art Director and Creative Art Director
- Keep informed on latest trends and technologies to be used for quality-of-life improvements and/or sales opportunities
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Act as a team player/self-starter with the ability to analyze tasks, work independently and to drive projects to completion
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Required Knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field
- Proven graphic designing experience with portfolio
- Two plus years of experience in graphic design
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Time-management skills and attention to detail required

- Valid Louisiana driver’s license with clean driving record
