Position Summary
The position is responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training. This role ensures HR policies and procedures are followed while assisting employees and management with HR-related needs. The HR Specialist plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing overall employee satisfaction. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following, and the Kinetix Management Team may assign additional tasks.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring efforts.
- Facilitate onboarding for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Conduct new hire orientations and explain company policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts, escalating issues as needed.
- Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Benefits & Compensation Support:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and address health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and payroll-related information.
- Support compensation analysis and payroll processing when necessary.
- HR Compliance & Record-Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Assist in audits and reporting related to HR compliance.
- Training & Development:
- Help coordinate employee training programs, workshops, and career development initiatives.
- Maintain training records and track participation.
- Assist in developing training materials as needed.
- Internship & Scholarship Program:
- Manage, coordinate, and enhance internship programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws and educational requirements.
- Serve as liaison between interns, supervisors, and academic institutions, ensuring requirements and evaluations are met.
- Monitor performance, provide mentorship, and facilitate professional development.
- Develop and manage a Kinetix Scholarship Program, including guidelines, selection criteria, and award distribution.
- Oversee the selection process.
- Partner with academic institutions to identify students and promote scholarship opportunities.
- Maintain all record keeping for internship and scholarship programs in alignment with financial regulations and company policies.
- Represent the company at career fairs, university partnership meetings, and industry networking events.
- HR Systems & Reporting:
- Maintain HR software and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.

- Recruitment & Onboarding:
Qualifications / Required Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in human resources or related functions
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
