Technical Sales Engineer

Position Summary

The position produces profitable revenue with a heightened focus on the Medical, Government, and Small Business sectors. Revenue streams will be achieved through consulting and providing solutions for Technology Services, Cybersecurity Services, Voice Services, Hosting Services, and Creative Services to the customer.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  •  Sales Prospecting and Pipeline Management
  • Revenue Goals – Meet and/or exceed revenue goals for gross revenue and target production
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
  • CRM and Data Management
  • Market Coverage and Penetration- Ensure excellent coverage and penetration of the market, that being primarily the Central Louisiana, Monroe, I-20 Corridor, and surrounding parishes
  • Understand the dynamics of the Computer, Networking and Telecommunication market
  • Stay Current with Technology Trends – stay current with emerging technology trends and ensure solutions are up-to-date and relevant
  • Assist in further defining vertical sales opportunities as necessary, along with the creation of necessary documentation and presentation materials

Qualifications / Required Knowledge

  • Must have 5+ years of IT sales experience
  • Proven work experience with setting goals, reporting achievements, and strategy implementation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communicator (internal and external)
  • Hands-on experience working with CRM software, ticketing software, and MS Office

  • Valid Louisiana driver’s license with clean driving record

  • All customer information, including but not limited to the following: customer lists, proposals, invoices, financial statements, non-published price lists, trade secrets, and business models.

If the recipient makes unauthorized disclosures or misappropriates Confidential Information, the Company will be notified immediately, and the recipient will be considered in breach of the obligation.
